Xabber Connectivity Issue #772

Downloaded Xabber today on Galaxy Note 4, i keep getting either a scripted error, or "SASLError using SCRAM-SHA-1: not-authorized. I also noticed within the script error, it has the wrong port # listed, as we use a custom host and port #.

My company uses Xabber for our technicians and this is the first time i've seen something like this.

Some important information is missing: Which version are you using? Xabber / Xabber Beta from google playstore? Custom build? I guess, on other technicians devices it is working? Which version is used there?

I don't know, how Xabber handles custom ports, afaik the port is not configurable.

You could try using a domain name instead of a plain IP address. With proper DNS SRV records, you can point to your custom port.
