8 years ago Turns out I was installing the wrong mcrypt version. If anyone runs into this issue in the future, run
apt-get install php5.6-mcrypt

8 years ago Turns out I was installing the wrong mcrypt version. If anyone runs into this issue in the future, run
apt-get install php5.6-mcrypt
I am running into issues with mcrypt. I am getting an error saying that encryption cannot be completed without mcrypt. It is installed and the extensions are installed where they need to be. I cannot find out where to fix it and after reading CI manual, I have met their criteria. Thoughts?
