Fix for #42 #43

This PR fixes issue #42 and has been tested on an Ipad 2 with iOS 7

Thanks @ggirard-distech :) I dont have a 7 device (or sim) to test it on, so I'm hoping it's all good :)

I have tried to add as many check as possible. I was not able to implement it as original source code because I was missing https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=35924 (which is not going to be available until a longggg time...)
