master: prints errors when running netpd in local mode #10

The offset detection of master triggers errors, when being offline:

error: unpack: type mismatch

The errors disappear when offset detection is turned off. However, there is no point in performing an offset detection when in offline mode. This could be fixed by turning offset detection automatically off when in offline mode.
