unpatch: notification about newer remote version is broken #36

There is code that looks like it implements notifications if a newer version of an instrument or abstraction is found, but it doesn't work.

It looks like this regression is a result of a refactoring that happened long time ago. It seems like the subpatch [pd local_is_newer_message] from unpatch-batch-download was originally part of unpatch and [r $0.socket] and [r $0.sender] don't have a corresponding send.
