it's brightcove player, SSAI strategy (ads baked on stream). So, nothing to do. http://www.onlinevideo.net/2016/01/stream-stitching-what-pros-must-know-about-the-ad-blocker-beater/

Schanzation commented 7 years ago

damn! ok. how do I know when a site is using SSAI strategy? So I don't create another post about another website that using same strategy. I was just about to make post about tv4play.se

http://www.tv4play.se/program/idol?video_id=3667093

Getting long ads multiple times throughout the video. Is this website also using same strategy?

brightcover player ads are already blocked on many blogs like SR, CBR, CB and numerous others, nothing to do with brightcove player here. I never see any ads because of brightcove players, which makes it irrelevant.

case in point - http://comicbook.com/2016/12/01/tom-cruises-the-mummy-trailer-released/

That's the brightcove player and no ads or anything!
