Install the whole mupen64plus with mupen64plus-video-glide64 from
ppa:sven-eckelmann/ppa-mupen64plus
Then start it using
mupen64plus --gfx mupen64plus-video-glide64 harvest.n64
Btw. you are using a known _bad_ dump (b1). Expect failures caused by the bad
dump which cannot be fixed by mupen64plus.
You can also try to use wxmupen64plus which is also inside that repository. It
is an experimental gui.

Error: Specified Video plugin not found: mupen64plus-video-glide64
I tried putting the files in both the mupen64plus root folder, and sub-folders
called * plugin

Please install mupen64plus and related packages from
ppa:sven-eckelmann/ppa-mupen64plus
If you really want to use the bundle stuff then specify the full path to the
plugin. But putting the .so in the root path of mupen64plus should have worked
already. Maybe you mixed the architectures?
mupen64plus --gfx /asd/foo/bar/mupen64plus-video-glide64.so harvest.n64
Please provide the output of `file mupen64plus` and `file
mupen64plus-video-glide64.so`

Then you try to download some windows version. Please install the packages from
ppa:sven-eckelmann/ppa-mupen64plus
If you really want to use the bundle then download the
mupen64plus-bundle-linuxXX-1.99.4-ubuntu.tar.gz and
mupen64plus-extraplugins-linuxXX-1.99.4.tar.gz from
http://code.google.com/p/mupen64plus/downloads/list (XX must be 32 when you are
on ubuntu natty i386 and 64 when you are on ubuntu natty amd64)

Hm, sound and graphics are in separate plugins and should not affect each
other. Please provide further information
