Unable to use Rails 5.2.0 (latest stable) #39

Gemfile locking creates deadlock.

Bundler could not find compatible versions for gem "actionmailer":
  In Gemfile:
    rails (~> 5.2.0) was resolved to 5.2.0, which depends on
      actionmailer (= 5.2.0)

    refinerycms-authentication-devise (~> 2.0) was resolved to 2.0.0, which depends on
      actionmailer (< 5.2, >= 5.0.0)

Hi @schnmudgal, thanks for your report!

Master branch of Refinery support Rails 5.2 but it's not yet released on rubygems.

Could you provide a pull request to support Rails 5.2 on this extension?

Thanks!

Getting this with a slightly newer version of actionmailer now

Bundler could not find compatible versions for gem "actionmailer":
  In Gemfile:
    rails (~> 5.2.0) was resolved to 5.2.1.rc1, which depends on
      actionmailer (= 5.2.1.rc1)

    refinerycms-authentication-devise (~> 2.0) was resolved to 2.0.0, which depends on
      actionmailer (>= 5.0.0, < 5.2)

Getting this in 5.2.2 also

Bundler could not find compatible versions for gem "actionmailer":
  In Gemfile:
    rails (~> 5.2.2) was resolved to 5.2.2, which depends on
      actionmailer (= 5.2.2)

    refinerycms-authentication-devise (~> 2.0) was resolved to 2.0.0, which depends on
      actionmailer (< 5.2, >= 5.0.0)

Hi @carltonsmith,

Could you paste your Gemfile ?

Refinery for Rails 5.2 is not yet released on rubygems.

You have to use the github source of the gems:

gem 'refinerycms', github: 'refinery/refinerycms', branch: 'master'
gem 'refinerycms-i18n', github: 'refinery/refinerycms-i18n', branch: 'master'

gem 'refinerycms-authentication-devise', github: 'refinery/refinerycms-authentication-devise', branch: 'master'
carltonsmith commented 5 years ago

That did the trick. Thanks!

You're welcome !
