3 years ago As no strong feelings were raised I settled for the following:
- rho describes SLDs in Å^-2 with rho_n for neutron and rho_of_E(Ei)/**rho_vs_E() for x-ray
- x-ray refraction parameters are *n=delta-ibeta, so I provide delta_of_E(Ei)** and related
- Website provide Å^-2, electron density and delta/beta as user choice.
How should I call SLD for neutron an x-rays? (delta, rho, ...?)
The term SLD actually is only correct for neutrons, what could be a general term? Scattering Power Density? What is the primary unit for x-ray SLD? I used Å^-2 as standard unit for neutrons, but I don't think that's used a lot for x-rays.
