we need a small tex template that can do

works as portrait and landscape
do hyphenation (line-breaks if words are too long)
number of columns change every time - maybe some internal space-calculation with under/overfull boxes
alignment of columns to reflect LR-RL reading
show smileys as pictograms would be nice
adjusting font size
add Date+Time to (footer?)
add www.refugeephrasebook.de to (footer?)

as for number of columns, use tabularx with column type X

adjusting font size should be difficult, but you can use \resizebox{\textwidth}{!}{....} around the table

metadata like creator, creation data, license, background info and link to project URL would indeed be good
