Take zenith and compass from one image and use them for all images in the series.
I just found out that this can be done with the latest exiftool (9.68):
exiftool -tagsFromFile source.jpg -MakerNotes *.jpg
A previous version of exiftool choked on the Ricoh's maker notes.
Thank you for the information.
It would be great if there was an option to write zenith and compass.
Example use cases:
.hdr
, where you have a 32 bit equirectangular image. This can be created from a series of Theta shots, exposure bracketed. Challenge: The horizon needs to be leveled. The problem: Even when on a tripod, the Theta does not record exactly the same zenith and compass. Solution: Take zenith and compass from one image and use them for all images in the series.
