Have a suggestion? Let me know! #28

Do you have a suggestion for a food to be added to Reg's More Foods? Here's how I would like you to write it, so I know exactly what you're looking for!

Is it already added?

When suggesting foods, try to ensure it hasn't already been added. You can do this by looking up the name of your suggestion on the Wiki. If it's not there, either it isn't in the project yet or I haven't put it on the wiki. Either way, I'll let you know if it's being added or not.

What is the name of the food?

What's the name of the food? Try to ensure your suggestion is a REAL food that exists--it makes looking up references for texturing it much easier for me, as well as balancing the food for gameplay. Almost any suggestion is fine with me, as long as its recipe wouldn't be considered "complicated" for Minecraft's 3x3 crafting grid. Try to keep in mind the lack of ingredients the game offers... some suggestions may require adding new ingredients, which may not be possible.

How much should it restore? (Optional)

On the topic of balance, try to suggest how much Nutrition and Saturation the food should restore. Minecraft uses a 20 point system for this--"0" is nothing, and "20" is 10 bars of hunger. So, "2 points" equals "1 bar". Nutrition is your Hunger Bar. It must be full before the player begins regenerating HP. Saturation is how the game regenerates HP. It will drain as the player heals, and once it runs out, the Hunger Bar will begin draining.

If you can't think of anything, feel free to skip this step.

Can it be eaten at any time? (Optional)

Some foods--like Golden Apples--can be eaten regardless of the player's Hunger Level. I try to reserve this function to smaller foods (mostly snacks and desserts), but it's up to your judgement. Just keep in mind that I may change your choice if the food would be overpowered otherwise.

If you can't think of anything, I'll figure it out for you.

What does the recipe look like? (Optional)

If you're feeling creative, try to give me a mockup of how the recipe would look in the game! Whatever method you choose of doing this is up to you.

Again, you can skip this step if nothing comes to mind or you don't want to.

Any additional features? (Optional)

If there's anything else you want your food to do--like applying a potion effect--you can list it here.

All I really need for adding a food to the game is the name of it. The rest--like its recipe, how much food it restores, what the texture looks like--I can figure out myself. I really appreciate any suggestions you may have!
