Standing images #72

Need a good system to store standing images. I'm thinking a Django app or use DOX (e.g. create a "Standing Images: rg.com" page and use the upload section to host images).

Example of a standing image would be the GO logo, or icons/stock photos used to show road closures or weather alerts. In other words, we need a good place to put stuff (other than just pooping into a folder on a server) where we can kinda keep track of what's being used where (i.e. Dox app allows for notes, which we could use to specify where said image is being used).

Alternatively, we could use DTI to host images for the main site. I'm just not sure how to reference the source image directly and I hate the length/look of the stream URLs.

If we use Django/Dox app, should we create a page for each type of site? One for blogs/other? When it comes to blogs, it has its own upload system, so we probably don't need to do that.
