Cut/Copy/Paste shortcuts don't work.

The Ctrl shortcuts (Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+A) don't work for me. Two common tasks this makes frustrating for me:

• Paste in a file or application name
• Quickly delete my search term and start over
