File browser not working in some Applications (Regolith 3.2 Beta 1, Sway)

Describe the bug Not possible to launch the filebrowser for some third party applications. Pressing buttons such as "Open/Attach file/folder" do nothing. Nautilus does not get launched.
Tested under Ubuntu 24.04 + Regolith 3.2 Beta with Sway-Session. Applications where this bug occured: VSCode (snap version), Firefox, Google-Chrome, Okular (flatpak version)

To Reproduce

• open googlemail in firefox
• new Mail
• Try to attach file
• [=> noting happens. Filebrowser did not launch]

Installation Details

• Regolith Version: 3.2 (Beta 1)
• Host OS (for PPA): Ubuntu 24.04
• Install Commands:

Update: there is a similar issue open in sway.

Also it seems to be related to xdg-desktop-portal judging by this issue, although the mentioned solution did not work for me.

Using unstable instead of testing solved this problem. Closing this issue :)
