Packaging/v1.8 regolith kgfix #10

I found these changes necessary to get the package compiling on manic. Unsure if this is the best way to resolve the errors though..

FYI I'm still working on a feature in the build system to allow for 2nd-order package dependencies (trawl <- sway-regolith). It's not working yet so I'm continuing on that front.

Looks good. I had to make similar changes to get it to build. I think I forgot to push.
