Describe the problem

Playback from Amazon / Disney+ videos won't work. Kodi is tying to start playback but nothing happens.

Describe the solution you'd like

Cast Kodi sending proper playback links for these Plugins

Additional context

Can't tell, if these plugins support playback from URI - but sending correct media link to Kodi should be first step in right direction.

So you can start Videos for Primevideo with pasting a link, tested with this one:

plugin://plugin.video.amazon-test/?asin=B0B6JQQ7DG&mode=PlayVideo&name=ENEMY&adult=0&trailer=0&selbitrate=0

This actually works, you will have to scrape the needed metadata from the URL:

ASIN can be directly fetched from video url: https://www.amazon.de/gp/video/detail/**B0CMHD44JC**/ref=atv_dp_btf_el_prime_sd_tv_play_t1ADAAAAAA0wr0?autoplay=1&t=0 Other stuff might be fetched parsing the HTM

might check on Disney+ later

The new version 7.7.0 supports Prime Video. Firefox 124+ or Chrome 123+ browsers required. And you need the Amazon VOD add-on.

It only works with the www.primevideo.com website (but not with www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/video/storefront).

Well. @regseb Thanks and damn I guess. Since I'm located in Germany, I cant use primevideo.com. Get redirected to DE storefront. Possible to include this as well? What would you need for that?
