You can measure the number of active community members adding value to the code the ability of your organization to work across boundaries and cooperate (using innerSource) the quality of code produced the shortened feedback loop of integrating new changes and features in a more public sphere

Here are some other ideas for measuring how well you're doing:

• Time to market
• Pull requests to fix bugs
• Pull requests to add suggested features
• Number of collaborators to a project outside of maintaining team
