The application crashes on connect #544

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. connect to an ssh server
2. enter the password

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The application crashes with a standard android message:
The application ConnectBot (org.connectbot) crashes unexpectedly. Please try 
again.

What version of the product are you using (you can see this by using Menu
-> About in the Host List)?
1.7.1

What type of system are you trying to connect to?
CentOS 5

If you are able to connect, what is the output of "echo $TERM", "uname -a",
and any other relevant information on the host?

Please provide any additional information below.
I'm using Creative Ziio7 with Android 2.2 connected through my WiFi router.
