kinase name and gene symbol mapping #70

I added the file curated_kinase_IDs.txt to dropbox/ALL_PTM_SITES. You should be able to map some unidentified kinases to their symbols. Let me know how many unmapped kinases remain after converting via this map.

We have about 25 kinases without associated proteins:

[<Kinase MAP3K14 belonging to <KinaseGroup MAP3K8, with 2 kinases> group>,
 <Kinase AURORA B belonging to None group>,
<Kinase PRKCT belonging to None group>,
 <Kinase PRKDC belonging to <KinaseGroup ATM, with 6 kinases> group>,
<Kinase CAMKA belonging to None group>,
 <Kinase CSNK2B belonging to None group>,
 <Kinase AURORA A belonging to None group>,
 <Kinase PRK4 belonging to None group>,
 <Kinase BCR/ABL belonging to None group>,
 <Kinase EG3 KINASE belonging to None group>,
<Kinase PDKC belonging to None group>,
 <Kinase NPM/ALK belonging to None group>,
<Kinase TITIN KINASE belonging to None group>,
<Kinase CCDPK belonging to None group>,
 <Kinase PRKY belonging to <KinaseGroup PKA, with 5 kinases> group>,
 <Kinase STK19 belonging to <KinaseGroup STK19, with 1 kinases> group>,
 <Kinase NIM1 belonging to <KinaseGroup PRKAA1, with 20 kinases> group>,
 <Kinase belonging to <KinaseGroup OXSR1, with 31 kinases> group>,
 <Kinase SGK196 belonging to <KinaseGroup RNASEL, with 3 kinases> group>,
 <Kinase WEE1B belonging to <KinaseGroup WEE1, with 3 kinases> group>,
 <Kinase YSK4 belonging to <KinaseGroup MAP3K5, with 8 kinases> group>,
 <Kinase RYK belonging to <KinaseGroup RYK, with 1 kinases> group>,
 <Kinase MLK4 belonging to <KinaseGroup FPGT-TNNI3K, with 10 kinases> group>,
 <Kinase FLJ25006 belonging to <KinaseGroup FLJ25006, with 1 kinases> group>,
 <Kinase C9ORF96 belonging to <KinaseGroup C9ORF96, with 1 kinases> group>]

And I start to think that's not the problem with the data but with the import workflow.

Aurora A and Aurora B should be AURKA and AURKB, respectively. TITIN KINASE is TTN

probably there are others that we can clear up
