Have you tried reordering with lower res images?
There is a limitation in Photoshop on how big the images you can make thumbnails of. Unfortunately theres nothing I can do about that except having you call the script via Bridge (which has no such limititon).

I’ve just installed tych-panel into cs5. It’s really good – love what it does!
However….when I have ‘enable reorder dialog’ selected at the same time as ‘convert to smart objects’ (and mask layers), the reorder dialog appears but is just a grey area. No thumbnails or controls, so I can’t go any further. If I de-select ‘convert to smart objects’, the re-order dialog works correctly. This happens regardless of whether I have ‘use selected images in adobe bridge’ selected or not.
If I select ‘convert to smart objects’ (and mask layers), and de-select ‘enable reorder dialog’, I get smart objects as expected, but cannot change the image sequence.
I think that’s a bug?? I want smart objects AND to be able to re-sequence!
