[feature request] support Polymer 2 #10

Should we continue to maintain this web component and support Polymer 2?

Hi. Sorry for being late.

Unfortunately, I can't work on Polymer 2 migration right now. But I might do it someday in a few months. If you would like to rush that, feel free to contribute.

Also, I think we should migrate to Polymer 3 instead of 2.

I wasn't asking you directly to migrate the element. I think the community can do that (me included).

I've not yet look at Polymer 3. Everything is going too fast for me. There is a preview barely swaying on its legs and people are already pushing it to production. they're insane.

Ok. I think we should wait until Polymer 3 is well established, so we don't have re-work.
