Cast discovery request #54

Hey ! First of, amazing app ! Love it Do you think it would be possible to add the cast functionnality to the project ? By that I mean that you will be able to select a particular device in the cast menu on your phone and it will open TizenTube. I know that SmartTubeNext has this feature. I know it is possible to add the app to be casted to when it is open on the tv, but it is not possible for the tv app to open when you try to cast to it. (And I dont know if it is technically feasible)

I'll also have a look myself. Thanks for the great work !

In my case cast discovery will work after the first connection using the 12-digit code, just like SmartTube. TizenTube will appear as "YouTube on TV" in the cast device list from the second connection attempt

Yeah indeed, but on smartube, it was persistent once your tv was started . You could, from the hope screen of your smart TV, launch the cast from your phone and it would open the app on the TV

Oh you mean the casting option will stay even after the tizenbrew app was closed. Got it, but I feel it's impossible in the current state.

That's what I also thought. Maybe an interaction directly with tizenbrew that on any cast call reception would redirect it to tizentube ?
