Feature Request: Allow for "custom" albums for non-official releases #2236

I have a number of songs I've picked up that aren't real releases, so they never make it onto MusicBrainz and, as such, I don't get to have them nicely in my library. I don't see any current mechanism available for dealing with this (I'm open to suggestions!).

Maybe an example helps.

Artist = Hedley. Before they were "famous" or even released anything, they did a song called simply "A" song. You can find it on Youtube and some sparse mentions elsewhere. I got it by recording it while I was at a park and they did an impromptu performance. So no kidding, this isn't going to be on MusicBrainz. But I'd still like to organize it under Hedley in my library.

This is actually more of a Musicbrainz issue insofar as if you have a recording of it and proof that it was a real song, you should be able to add it to their database and have it cataloged properly in Headphones.

I see your point. However, if MusicBrainz disappears tomorrow, my local software shouldn't be useless. Arbitrary albums could always by a useful feature
