decode paths before using them to fix manual post process #3342

Fix for 3341. When postprocessing finds unexpected files it was throwing on paths which had not been decoded. Been a while since I submitted for headphones. If there are tests I'm supposed to run before submitting let me know.

Sorry I created the pr and it opened a new issue. This is for 3341.
