[feature request] date syncronization plugin #110

after events that were shot with different cameras i usually combine the
pictures by hand, aligning them on the same timeline. since all the cams
have (slightly) different date/time settings this is quite hard. therefore
after the event i take a picture with all the cams at the same time, to
calculate their differences. afterwards i adjust all timestamps of foreign
pictures to my one. this is a quite boring task, which may be automated.

the main problem would be how to integrate this feature into the UI

i would like to be able to select some (2 or more) pictures that were shot
at the same time and adjust a set of pictures with that offset afterwards.

perhaps it's possible to automatically select all pictures in the current
folder of the same camera modell for adjustment.

it may be even possible to store the offsets of foreign cameras and reuse
them later (e.g. when i forgot taking the sync-shot)

Why cannot you just select multiple pictures, right click on it and in
Operations run Change Datetime?

I can and I did for the last 2 1/2 years...
but this proposal should make the process easier and less error-prone, as it's
guided.
