when running the npm run dev command I get a ''vite' error #2

the response when I run the npm run dev command:

vite-preact-tailwindcss@0.0.0 dev concurrently -k 'vite build --watch' 'vite -c vite.backend.js build --watch'

[0] ''vite' is not recognized as an internal or external command, [0] operable program or batch file. [1] 'build' is not recognized as an internal or external command, [1] operable program or batch file. [1] build exited with code 1 --> Sending SIGTERM to other processes.. [0] 'vite exited with code 1 --> Sending SIGTERM to other processes.. [2] 'build' is not recognized as an internal or external command, [2] operable program or batch file. [2] build exited with code 1

I already ran the npm install command.

are you on windows? try using the windows linux subsystem

hey, got it running... the only thing i can figure while playing around is this: [image: image.png]

after that it seemed to be running.

I had also followed this guide up to step 7: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/dev-environment/javascript/nodejs-on-wsl

So it would seem to be some combination of them

  • installed ubuntu 22 wsl from store.
  • deleted the existing figma-gpt folder.
  • downloaded newest as zip and extracted to desktop.
  • opened ubuntu terminal
  • then did as you can see here.

Great! i think i could publish this to the Figma plugin store soon to make it easier for other people to try

that'd be awesome! keep us posted. I'm starting to play around with it now and so far it can do some pretty cool stuff
