6 years ago I have merged this manually to master, and also fixed a whole bunch of other things. See https://github.com/remotestorage/website/commits/master
Deploying is now also an npm script. I updated the README accordingly.
This ensures that all developers have compatible dependency trees. npm strongly suggests this lock file be used in all npm projects
