Sunbird 0.8 (0.9) - installation failed #46

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Hebrew Calendar 1.0.4.69 on Sunbird 0.8

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected installation.
Instead:
Hebrew Calendar 1.0.4.69 could not be installed because it is not
compatible with Sunbird 0.8. (Hebrew Calendar 1.0.4.69 will only work with
Sunbird versions from 0.3 to 0.7).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Sunbird 0.8
Hebrew Calendar 1.0.4.69
Fedora 8 Linux

Please provide any additional information below.

I tried modifying the supported versions in "install.rdf". However, the
following message was printed:
Sunbird could not install this item because of a failure in Chrome
Registration. Please contact the author about this problem.
There were 2 error messages:
browserOverlay.js Line 566: this.hHCalendar has no properties
browserOverlay.js Line 119: hBundle has no properties

I changed 0.7 to 0.8 and installed new hcalendar version, but Sunbird doesn't
show
calendar in status bar with a error:

Error: hBundle has no properties
Source File: chrome://hcalendar/content/browserOverlay.js
Line: 122

I'll continue my investigation (line 122 in 1.0.4.69 can be another).

1.0.4.79 shows "Hebrew Date" on statusbar, but a few options are not supported
in 0.9.
