CDDA Game Launcher error parsing changelog data #552

For about a week now the game launcher has always thrown up this error message "Error parsing Changelog data. Retry later." in red. I've deleted the launcher and reinstalled it to only get the same message. The game itself still works fine but I can't update via the launcher.

There is no problem with the launcher.

I have this exact same issue, so it's certainly not unique.

Same issue here - changelog is missing, but also can't update the game. My most recent build available is 11581 (2 weeks ago).

Someone will need to figure out a way to get the launcher to work with the new build system. I don't really know how, but I want to see if I can figure it out.

Is there a new build system? Is that what I'm seeing on https://github.com/CleverRaven/Cataclysm-DDA/releases with the release number restarting at 1?

Yes it is, they replaced their Jenkins with the GitHub builds.

Well I am getting the ability to update now, but it still won't show the changelog for some reason

The site is still down, so there won't be any changelog.

There is no rush in changing anything in the launcher as GHA builds are still WIP.
