6 years ago Jonathan, that's awesome news! The world needs a static site generator that can cope with zettel notes / archives! I just went with this because it was easy enough to do for me, and I am not good at web stuff. I would really love to see a cool generator - I'll immediately star your repo when you put it up 😄 !
What I keep thinking, though, when thinking about static site generators: Will it be cool without a search feature - or can one be done without server side code (even in huge archives)? But don't let that stop you! I'm really looking forward to your gen!

At some point I will develop a theme for a static site generator + plugin that works well with your zettelkasten plugin. So the aim is somewhat similar to this, it'll create a ui, though it won't have the knobs, like here as it will be generated.
Using a static site generator would also give you the power to publish selected posts to the internet. :)
