import files/notes from other markdown software #67

slzk identifies notes by their id. If a file doesn't have an id at the beginning of the filename slzk doesn't find it (I think this causes it). So if you have notes from a different software you can't use them in slzk? So you can't switch to slzk?

If you know the command line or special software like AntRenamer or maybe bulkrenameutility you can batch add fourteen-digit numbers in front of cards but most people will fail at this.

Maybe there should be an import option (that also adds the name as the first line into the file?)

I have the same issue. I can't open my notes folder with the "open notes folder option". The folder and its path gets saved, but I can't see nor open any notes. I only can work with my notes if I place them in the default folder, which is enough for me. I would be thankful if you could look at it when you have time, however. I am very thankful for your software! You are amazing!
