Feature request: motion sensor for toilet rooms as landing spot #1

Awesome project and great job!

I would love to see the frame coupled to a motion sensor for using it in toilet rooms. Thereby, the vocabulary displayed could be randomly rotated everytime one enters the room.

Thanks for your suggestion! Your safety is our first priority. We have therefore checked the international safety requirements for devices in locations containing a bath or shower. IEC60364-7-701:2006-02 requires devices to fulfil IPX4 according to IEC 60529:1989/AMD2:2013/COR1:2019. As the picture frame with cardboard backing does not provide protection against water splashing from any direction, the whole housing needs a redesign in order to be water-proof. Unfortunately, such kind of housing will inevitably increase the complexity and cost effort of the project. Consequently, we cannot implement this feature without either compromising the simplicity of the project or international safety regulations.
