To help with the chicken-and-egg problem, it would be nice to be able to manually add applications to the your local instance of Compliment, so that you can flattr them (probably not automatically, but still conveniently from within the app) without them needing to use ComplimentKit.
Maybe this can also be supported by an online database of known apps (mapping OS X bundle identifier to Flattr url) or something. Maybe not.
