Turn autocommit on and off

I would like to have this either

for all files in a project - ie repo
for a specific file

I thought about saving the stuff directlty in the fcstd file, but this seems to be only possible from the C++ api: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=25320

We could also create a small configuration file in the git root directory, where file specific configuration can be saved... But I think the approach using the plugin specific configuration inside the fcstd file is probably better?
