Fix compressor contactor sticking 'on' #24

Closed repentsinner closed 3 years ago

The compressor contactor (a) sometimes engages itself without input during bumpy travel and (b) typically sticks in the 'on' position and will not disengage. Tapping on the side of the contactor assembly may eventually coerce it into disengaging.

Suggest to replace contactor with one that behaves as expected.

Replaced whatever came in the kit with an EGIS Mobile Electric 7025B Hermetically Sealed Contactor, 100A, 24V.

The small size of the 7025B is helpful, a Trombetta 684-2421-012-02 24V Powerseal DC Contactor, 150A Continuous Duty was just too large to physically fit on the existing bracket.

The fixed 24-22AWG coil harness on the contactor is less ideal than M4 screw terminals, especially when coupled to the pressure cutoff switch which has a fixed 12-10AWG harness. Not sure how best to clean up this aspect of the wiring, but at least the contactor works as designed for now.
