part details always same part when getting part details from digikey #37

Hello I have set up the digikey sandbox api. (Other api causes binner service won't start). But when I type any components it always shows a panasonic capacitor.

hmm that's strange, let me see if I can reproduce

ah I see what the issue is. This is something DigiKey does on their sandbox api, they only have a limited set of parts that will be returned in the sandbox. If you also configure Mouser's API, you have the option of seeing results for both. For example:

I'll make note to improve these UI's more, as it isn't very obvious and the descriptions aren't listed on the alternate parts screen.

also of note, this month I am releasing updates which will pull data from the commercial version of Binner, so this information won't be so reliant on DigiKey for metadata. We have been building our own parts catalog which will be free for the open source Binner.
