Support for JSON or other machine readable output #31

This should be easier to do in a script for automation, including when running in CI

Is this one ever going to be merged into master? It's a useful feature that should be available by default...

@TitanRob16 thanks for the message on this. Yes, let's get this merged asap. The CI is not passing for some reason, I'll take a look at that now.

Thanks, @marccampbell! I thought this was dead since it's been over a year. I'm very much looking forward to the JSON output feature :)
