As soon as per-maintainer events are available, it would be cool to allow people to select maintainer(s) or metapackages to watch (no registration, list saved in session e.g. cookies) and get a combined state/history view as well as github-like notifications icon ("you have 2 more packages which need update").

Email notification (configurable of course) would be nice, too.
