Image and file upload broken on clean docker-compose install

Actual behavior

• I used provided docker-compose.yml and config.yml to start a clean docker instance, on a clean Debian 9 VPS. Only changed params as per docs, and put everything on port 80.
• Wrote some pages
• Tried to upload an image. File upload seems to work 'Files uploaded successfully'. Then gives error 'Unable to fetch updated listing'. Image does not appear in UI anywhere.

Expected behavior

Images uploaded appear in UI somewhere?

I can confirm this error. Images and files are uploaded, but listing fails. Although it is possible to reference the images and files if you know the path and filename (but files are often renamed after uploaded)
