Integram in channel #9

Is there is any way to make bot work in channel, instead of group?

requilence commented 7 years ago

Hi, currently there is no simple flow to add bot from private message to specific channel (like for groups). Also the last version of Integram relates on inline buttons widely. But they yet disabled for channels in Telegram. Can you please give me scenarios of Integram in channels? I will keep them in mind

This could be used for channels that are made to track development process of something, i.e. when a push is made to gitlab the bot sends the details to a telegram channel that people are watching, sort of like how slack bots work.

(sorry to necropost)

@gageleb Hi! This flow was updated earlier this year. For Bitbucket&Gitlab bots – just add it to the channel and send the /start command. The bot will give you the webhook URL (you can remove the message that contains link after)

For the Trello bot, channels support will be implemented next weeks

This doesn't appear to work. Regardless of where the bot /start command is invoked, the webhook url always sets up notifications to the Bitbucket bot private message
