NodeKnockout #17

Hi guys!

You know about NodeKnockout? the 48 Hour Worldwide Node Hackathon? What do you thing of having a gathering in Lisbon for all the NodeHackers to have some beers while coding?

I've already approach Beta-i, then can lend us space (wifi+power too), also I have a lead with Strongloop for some meetups with drinks, probably they will support this and Lunacloud is all in as well :)

I've set up a little form so we can get feedback of the interest from the community in general here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/16f3vFwj8qs5VehBwbhdSWEW4p8k2YV0tAKDwT9BgH4g/viewform

Do you like the idea? Let's go for it? =)

I like the brainstorm of projects :) I would love some hardware hacking stuff :)

Hi all, you're receiving this email because you signed up to the Node Knockout 2013 email list on nodeknockout.com.

Unfortunately we are a little behind schedule, and will not be able to make the September date as planned. 

We are moving the competition date back to it's regular slot in early November. The competition will now take place on Nov 8-10. Team registration will open in October.

Hi guys!

So as you all may know, NodeKnockout is on November 8-10 , I was hoping to get an organized gathering in Lisbon, however, I'm currently without time and energy to put on an organization of another event, it would be great if someone could come take over and make an amazing event for the dev community in Lisbon :) (Something like a room at Startup Lisboa with good Wifi, a pizza delivery contact number and some packs of beer will do the trick :) )

How many teams from Portugal are participating? :)

Thank you @jamespage , it's a the full weekend 48 straight hours from November 8th (23:59) till November 10th

I don't think I'm going to participate... I really have no project plus I've recently been experimenting more with Go and Lua, not really doing new things in Node...
