Second meetup - Githubissues

So the next meetup 05/09/2013 is almost there, we need to close the talks.

We need to fill 1:30h, our proposal is 3 talks

2 talks of 10mins each
1 talk of 20/30 mins

but we are also up for suggestions.

My suggestion after seeing the actual proposals:

Is to discuss how much time is needed for each presentation and the disponibility to present it on the next meetup 05/09/2013

That discussion could be here or on the respective issue of the proposal.

We are also open for new proposals i think that @joaojeronimo has one.

Should we focus on deployment. We have https://github.com/require-lx/group/issues/20 and https://github.com/require-lx/group/issues/7 We could get somebody (@rodrigol, or @TiagoCorreia ) at Webnographer to talk about deployment and Puppet at http://webnographer.com.

We have a problem, the Python meetup guys booked the venue (startup lisboa) for the same time and day, so we don't have one. Can you guys think of an alternative one ? We can also postpone this meetup

Anyone know the guys at seedrs.com? They had quite a bit of space in their offices - but not sure if they do still. Might be worth a shot if we don't find anywhere else.

I would have love to, to receive you in our office (seedrs.com) but unfortunately, we have just 10 chairs... It will not be enough.. What about beta-i? (I'll send an e-mail to ask, I'll let you know, but I doubt..)

Since it's the second meetup, I would figure about ~20-30 people maybe less...

@marcoscaceres, @pierreozoux great, can you ask ?

@jamespage awesome, if we can get those chairs...

@leolara think we can host it at the Uniplaces terrace ? I might be able to get a projector...

Ok, here in Seedrs, we can host 30 people (with seats), and more on the ground ;) So you are welcome :) I have a video projector also. (The only issue is the fridge, it's a bit little ;) )

Hey guys... regarding beta-i, I am participating in the Lisbon Challenge (http://www.lisbon-challenge.com) there and the room should be pretty full with all the teams that are participating. But you could ask someone to see if we can host the meetup there with all the international participants and everything. There are some Javascript developers there and it would be a nice opportunity for everyone to meet new people.

Webnographer Office: Rua de São Paulo n.121 3rd Floor I think we have a Webnographer sticker near the buzzer.

Once inside and after taking the stairs/elevator you will see a sign saying "UX Cocktail here". That means you're at the right door.

I'd like you guys to confirm that I can count on:

a talk from @pierreozoux about packer;
a talk from @rodrigol (from webnographer, @TiagoCorreia can you confirm ?) about puppet;
a talk about deployment at CrowdProcess by me;
40 seats at webnographer (@jamespage @TiagoCorreia @rodrigol please confirm this)

The next meetup will be about deployment and provisioning. We're going to have

Pierre Ozoux from Seedrs to talk about packer.io; Rodrigo Lima from Webnographer to talk about puppet; João Jerónimo to talk about "Deployments at CrowdProcess (and how we use ploy, chef and vagrant together)". The venue this time is Webnographer's Office, Rua de São Paulo nº121, on the 3rd floor. There's a tiny change we > will have to change it to a nearby place, but unlikely. But do check the meetup page before going there to avoid problems, I'll send you a message if there's a change.

Aghh Marcos both Meetups are in the same building. So the idea is we can join Open Coffee in the bar downstairs after.

We can all contribute. I don't mind paying you guys for the beers/wine. I would even bring some but I will be working all day at Beta-i so that won't work.
