What is an X11 application and why would I want to run one.

x11 helps us display a GUI that starts on the server

Use a LTS for base image bc Ubuntu Utopic is 14.10 which is EOL.

Worth putting in the notes that the GLTK errors are acceptable, and not to be of concern.
