It has been pointed out to us (at Nectar Support) that the "080.The.object.store.md" page seems to imply that any Nectar user can use Object Storage.
In fact, when a user signs up for Nectar they get a "project trial" (PT), and these do not have any quota for Object Storage. If a user wants to use Object Storage, they must be a member of a Nectar project with quota for Object Storage.
