From a technical perspective, we get audio recording functionality for free with VAPI. It's disabled with hippa, and can completely turn it off for everyone. It's helpful for debugging at the very least.

What kind of conversations do you imagine people wanting to go back and listen to?

For music - I'd love to figure out how to get music to be a part of the app, so you and the AI can converse over the current track. We have a lot to build and get dialed in before that, but it's good to imagine what it can be.

Offline mode will be tricky, because it will be a while before we can have performant models on IOS. We can have offline music, but for that spotify or apple music is better suited imo
