maybe change uildName
helps you.
Hi Guys any fix for this issue. I am also getting same issue with gradle 6.4.1 version
Well it seems it stopped working with gradle 5.6 - which is long time ago. Changing the buildName helps a bit, but if your multimodule build uses buildSrc
it fails cause of duplicate lock. I can be wrong, but it seems until this plugin will use GradleBuild
task, the usage for multimodule projects is very limited.

FWIW you can make it work on Gradle 6.8 with buildSrc
if you limit number of workers to 1 when executing release task.
I upgraded to gradle 6.2.2 and the release of multiproject stopped working.
I'm getting the following exception, project names and paths have been modified for Included build /path/to/root/project has build path :root-project-name which is the same as included build /path/to/root/project
The same project with gradle 5 is working as intended.
