This bug comes from the original branch TheXaman: tx_randomizer_and_challenges.
It was partly fixed by this commit, which randomizes types but in a static way, meaning that every new game the new type match-ups, although randomized from vanilla, are always the same for everyone.
"Type effectiveness randomization" inside "Randomizer" (in Challenges menu) doesn't properly work.

The option was recently disabled as it doesn't work.
I don't have enough experience or knowledge on how to fix this, so maybe someone who knows about how the randomizer operates can help fix it.
