Modify the home page along with statistics #15

The issue of bringing statistics into the homepage, kindly help.

The issue of statistical has not being shown on the image shared. I am attaching the image with the example of it. It's basically the way to display different data on the home page. It could be in the top image, or it could be below the home image. It would be either by table or graph or only the descriptions of the data that is being opened the most in the Geonode, etc. 2_version of Geonode Design.pdf

@msilikale05 you are talking about the bar charts right?

Where should we get the data to backup the charts? From counting layers as per some preconfigured categories?

@msilikale05 the bar chart you suggested (and other charts) would involve pulling data from the GeoNode API and plotting it using additional libraries. This would require some custom development.

We recently added more detailed analytics to the GeoNode backend, which I believe are now already exposed through the API. This should make it easier to aggregate specific data you want to display in a chart or as individual statistics. See an example about the most accessed layers and countries of visitors.
