Homepage Changes to open enrollment #243

Hi Tobi, As I mentioned, we want to have the enrollment page ready to go for launch - so could you please mock this up so that I can review it? Pls lmk what questions you have. Please replace homepage content with this and in this order. Note that there are placeholders here now (i.e. for dates!) , and we may have more changes. Thanks!

Are you an underrepresented racial minority looking to build a career in tech? (Tobi- pls make this large font - same size as current headline "increasing access to careers in tech")

Enroll in our:

FREE TECH TRAINING (make this font maybe one size bigger that the "Are you an"...sentence)

Sign up for 7-month software development training by XX XXX! (smaller font)

(TOBI: the copy below is same paragraph that's currently at bottom of homepage. Can you keep it the same as is on homepage - font etc - and just move up to this spot?)

Enrolling is easy. No credit check, entrance exam, or prior knowledge or experience required. If you self-identify as an underrepresented minority, all you need is a computer with Internet access, the ability to legally work in the U.S., and an accurate LinkedIn profile and photo. (Don’t have a LinkedIn profile? Watch this video with LinkedIn strategist, Teddy Burriss, to get some topline tips.)

WHO WE ARE (pls make these 3 words a button to About Us page): A nonprofit founded by tech veterans who want to democratize access to careers in tech by training as many underrepresented minorities as possible

Hi Tobi -Thanks for taking a crack at this! Okay, here's my edits to this: https://reskill-learning--pr244-do-not-merge-e9c446pe.web.app/

  1. At the top: Please DELETE all text about the sentence "Are you an underrepresented racial minority looking to build a career in tech?" That sentence should be the only thing at the top of the page.

  2. After the words ENROLL IN OUR please write FREE TECH TRAINING.

  3. Under that sentence above please write, in smaller font, Sign up for 7-month software development training by XX XXX! (Pls write it as is, we will fill in the date later)

  4. DELETE these next two paragraphs that you currently have on this mock up:

FREE TECH TRAINING If you self-identify as a historically underrepresented minority, then our program is completely free for you. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization funded by individual and corporate donors.

LEARN FROM ANYWHERE, ANYTIME Our course is entirely online. Once your session begins, you can participate on a flexible schedule, as long as you submit your assignments on time.

So that you only KEEP the last paragraph: Enrolling is Easy No credit check, entrance exam, or prior knowledge/experience required. If you self-identify as an underrepresented minority, all you need is a computer with a web browser, the ability to legally work in the U.S., and an accurate LinkedIn profile and photo. (Don’t have a LinkedIn profile? Watch this video with LinkedIn strategist, Teddy Burriss, to get some topline tips)

  1. Please change WHO WE ARE to Who We Are and just make it a button (similar to enroll now), but in a different color -off white/light gray/ the same color as the Learn more on the current homepage. (Enroll now is the button we want to stand out!)

  2. Pls also make the Learn More button below it the same color as Who We Are (both grey/off white).

  3. Countdown ticker -- this looks different than what we had last year on the homepage. Do you have access to that design?

  4. After "What are graduates are saying" testimonial section, DELETE the next section (the 3 paragraphs, Its Free, Learn from Anywhere, Anytime and Enrolling is Easy)

  5. DELETE the next section (Testimonials) as you already have it above.

  6. So that the Raynell video should follow right after the What Our Graduates are saying (#8)

  7. After the Raynell video, the sections should be the same as current mock up:

--Learn from Anywhere, Anytime Our course is entirely online. Once your session begins, you can participate on a flexible schedule, as long as you submit your assignments on time.
